THE TRUE LOVE

Have you ever felt true love without having to saying any word? This true and pure love that you can find in at first sight. Animal love can make you wake up a part of your heart that you haven’t felt before. When I was a child, I hated cats because I thought cats are weird, just for the way they are, and they are so aloof, and I hated it. I liked to carry on cats, but they didn’t like, and they used to scratch me. However, one day, a cat came to my house and with his love, gave to me another point of view about them. He used to stay in my thighs when I was studying in long nights and midnight. He used to give to me kisses when I felt tired and when I was crying. In this essay, I will share with you information about my pets; second, then, I’ll tell you about the difference between cats and dogs; and finally, I’ll explain why it is important to adopt and don’t buy a pet.

I remember when I was a child, I had my first pet, “Argus.” Argus was a German Shepard, he was a cute and friendly dog, he protected me all the time. He played with my sister and me. Argus passed away because he got old, and I felt sad. I loved my dog. A short time passed when my pretty “Honey” arrived in my life.  She is a German Shepard, and she is eight years old now. She is my happiness and my safe place. I wasn’t a cat lover but, during the pandemic, a dirty cat arrived at my garage. Without fearing to Honey, he got in the house, and for that reason my family decided to adopt him, and we called him “Bigotes.” Right now, I have two cats. I have “Michi” and “Tiger”. Michi is a villager, and we called as “Rata”, because he is pretty small. He is weird and all the time he gets scared with a lot of things. My Tiger is an orange cat and has stripes on his fur, so that is why we called it Tiger. He is a thief; he always steals food. My two cats were adopted.

Dogs and cats are different in the way they love and the way they are. Cats are more independent, and they are selfish with their own place, they love to have their own space and without being petted too much, unlike dogs, who are sweet, and they love that we give them love and play with them, they like to spend time with people. But with cats you should winning trust of them and after that they will be able to give you all their own love, they will look after you when you sleep and when you go to the bathroom, unlike dogs, they give you their love, and they always obey you, and they don’t refuse to do whatever you want them do.

Adopting animals is important and not buying because with that we can give a second opportunity to animals. We can give them love and a beautiful life, a family, and a safety place where they can be. When you buy animals, you support and agree to animal cruelty and animal abuse, because a lot of sellers keep the animals in poor conditions, and they suffer a lot. So, it is a useful way to prevent animal cruelty and wonderful way to give a second life a lot of animals in the street.

In conclusion, I love animals because they give me several memories and they take care of me when I have felt blue, and they give a lot of love that can heal me in my days of sadness. We must adopt and give a second opportunity to animals.
